Forget Me Not holds some of the most private information a person has. We treat it that way.
Our full privacy policy is being finalised ahead of the October release. The commitments below are already how the app is built, and the complete policy will be published here before launch. If you have a question in the meantime, please email hello@forgetmenot.app and we'll answer it properly.
What we keep
The events you record, the people you attach to them, and the messages you write or save. That is what the app needs in order to remind you.
What we don't do with it
- We don't sell it, and we don't share it with advertisers.
- We don't post anything publicly, ever.
- We don't send messages on your behalf. Every message waits for you to send it yourself.
- We don't require you to make anything visible to anyone else in order to use the app.
Your control
You can pause or remove any reminder at any time, and nothing you've saved is deleted when you do. You can ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@forgetmenot.app.
